I am a second-year teacher here at Central High School! I have a love for math and a love for others, so this is my dream job! I have, and expect all of my students to have, a growth mindset. You can do anything! Yes, even math.

I am super family-oriented and spend most of my time adventuring with my husband, son, and our kitties! I also value education and hope to always be working on growing educationally and professionally! 

I look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Traditional Mathematics, Cum Laude, from the University of West Georgia in May 2019. 

During my undergraduate career, I was employed by the Center for Academic Success as a Supplemental Instruction Leader and a Peer Tutor for various mathematics courses. I was also employed at Carrollton Junior High School as a Math Enrichment teacher at the afterschool program, Trojan University. 

I am currently working on my Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Secondary Mathematics at the University of West Georgia. I will graduate in December.

I am thrilled to start year 2 as a part of the Lion Family!
